Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has openly criticized BJP MLA Ravinder Singh Negi for advocating the closure of meat shops in Delhi during Navratri, urging that if truly committed to Hindu values, BJP leaders should also shutter KFCs and their owned restaurants.
Singh underscored the BJP's alleged double standards by questioning why liquor outlets continue to operate during the festival despite alcohol consumption clashing with Hindu traditions. He robustly demanded their closure throughout Navratri as well.
Pointing out perceived hypocrisy, Singh noted that embassies and guest houses in Delhi prepare meat, while Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht backed the call for closing meat shops during Navratri as a gesture of communal harmony.
