Speaking at a joint press briefing held by the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi, Misri underscored Pakistan's association with notorious figures like Osama Bin Laden and other United Nations-designated terrorists.

Misri rebutted Pakistan's claims of being free of terrorism, referencing a recent interview where the Pakistani Information Minister faced challenges over his denial of terrorist presence in the country. The Foreign Secretary showcased a photograph showing Pakistan army personnel attending funerals of terrorists, which were conducted with full state honors and national flags, criticizing this as an incongruous practice.

He further argued that India's recent military operations targeted terrorist infrastructures, countering Pakistan's allegation of attacks on religious sites. Misri also accused Pakistan of sheltering terrorist leaders and highlighted inconsistencies in claims surrounding the terrorist Sajid Mir.
