ACME Solar Holdings announced on Friday the commissioning of the first phase of its ambitious 300-MW Acme Sikar Solar power project in Rajasthan. The operational commencement introduces 52.5 MW to the grid, elevating the company's overall capacity to 2,592.5 MW.
This project is strategically positioned in Bikaner, a region known for high solar irradiation. ACME's latest endeavor aligns with India's renewable energy aspirations, as the nation continues striving toward sustainable power solutions.
Financed by PFC Ltd, the project is expected to produce about 780 million units of clean energy annually. ACME Solar's integrated renewable portfolio, which includes solar and wind solutions, now boasts an operational capacity of 2,592.5 MW, with more expected as the company progresses further.
