In a dramatic crackdown, Haryana Chief Minister's Flying Squad apprehended 53 individuals involved in illegal gambling operations in Karnal. The raid, executed on Thursday, led to the confiscation of approximately Rs 12 lakh in cash, 46 mobile phones, and numerous vehicles, as reported by the authorities.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar, affiliated with the CM Flying squad, disclosed that Rinku, a Karnal resident, orchestrated the gambling network. All suspects have been detained for further investigation and authorities aim to identify the primary orchestrators behind the operation.

The facility provided gamblers with food and drink amenities, arranged entirely by an individual named Rinku. Following the arrests, the accused were transported to Gharaunda police station, with plans to present them before the court. Concurrently, a joint effort by the Bhopal Crime Branch and Narcotics Control Bureau led to the seizure of 1.96 grams of LSD from a 19-year-old in the city, divulging an online drug procurement channel linked to Kerala.
