Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed profound sorrow on Monday over the passing of Shibu Soren, the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Soren, remembered for his enduring struggle for tribal rights in the state, was eulogized in an X post by Shah highlighting his sincere connection with the masses.

The Union Minister extended condolences to Soren's family, offering prayers for strength during this time of grief. Meanwhile, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge also commemorated Soren’s contributions to Jharkhand's statehood and the protection of water, forest, and land rights.

MP Pappu Yadav lauded Soren's legacy as a fearless advocate for marginalized communities, describing him as the voice for followers of BR Ambedkar and Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Soren’s demise, at the age of 81, marks the end of a significant era in Jharkhand's political landscape.
