In a heartfelt display of devotion and cultural homage, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar participated in the Annakoot Mahotsav at a temple in Bareilly. The event, brimming with spiritual fervor, saw rituals dedicated to the well-being and prosperity of the nation.

Following the Annakoot rituals, Governor Gangwar joined fellow devotees in accepting prasad, an act symbolizing shared faith and cultural vigor. Describing the Mahotsav as a reflection of the state's rich heritage, he conveyed wishes of happiness and peace to people nationwide.

The festival, closely linked to Diwali and Govardhan Pooja, involves offering a variety of vegetarian dishes to Lord Krishna. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami commemorated Govardhan Puja, highlighting the cow's significance in Sanatan culture and underscoring the harmony between humans, animals, and nature.
