India Ensures Stable Fuel Supplies Amid Global Energy Disruptions

Amidst global disruptions in the energy supply chain, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has assured the public of stable fuel supplies. Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, emphasized that crude oil inventories are steady, refineries are operating optimally, and there are no fuel shortages nationwide.
Addressing an inter-ministerial briefing, Sharma highlighted the government's effective measures to ensure uninterrupted fuel delivery. She noted that over 1.26 crore LPG cylinders have been delivered in the past three days, with commercial LPG and Auto LPG sales meeting significant demand.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also called on citizens to cut fuel consumption and embrace energy-saving practices, such as using public transport, carpooling, and electric vehicles. He emphasized the need for reducing import dependency to ease the economic burden on the nation.
