Fuel Conservation Drive Gains Momentum in India

In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for fuel conservation amid the West Asia crisis, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar has downsized his convoy and urged elected officials to limit vehicle use. This initiative aims to conserve resources and promote energy-saving practices across the nation.

In a move aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for fuel conservation, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar has opted to reduce his official convoy to just four vehicles. This decision comes amidst the ongoing West Asia crisis, highlighting the need for prudent resource usage.

Governor Gangwar has encouraged elected representatives and office-bearers to follow suit by cutting down the use of unnecessary vehicles. This appeal aligns with a broader public awareness campaign for energy conservation.

Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, echoed the sentiment, urging citizens to adopt similar measures in the national interest, inspired by the Prime Minister. Modi's broader conservation strategy includes suggestions like increased public transport use and work-from-home policies to save on fuel expenses.
