Ladakh Police Recruitment Board Revamped for Fair Hiring

The Lieutenant Governor of UT Ladakh, Vinai Kumar Saxena, has approved the reconstitution of the Ladakh Police Service Recruitment Board to enhance transparent hiring practices. The Board will oversee recruitment for various police positions using fair and technology-driven methods, ensuring equal opportunities for Ladakh's youth.

Ladakh's efforts to ensure equitable recruitment gained momentum with the reconstitution of the Police Service Recruitment Board, approved by Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena. This initiative aims to reinforce fairness and efficiency in the hiring process within the Ladakh Police.

The newly formed Board is tasked with conducting recruitment exams for specific Group 'B' and 'C' positions, including Sub-Inspector and Constable roles. Saxena emphasized the government's dedication to transparent recruitment, aiming to boost local employment and confidence among candidates.

Chaired by Koshal Kumar Sharma, DIG, the Board is mandated to implement advanced technologies such as biometric verification and digital systems to maintain integrity. This modernization reflects a strategic move to combine credibility with merit-based opportunities for Ladakh's aspiring youths.
