In a striking display of courage, Police Constable B Suresh of Tappachabutra Police Station heroically saved the life of a TGPDCL contract worker who suffered an electric shock near Kummarwadi Hanuman Temple in Karwan. The officer, on BC-I patrolling duty, reached the scene to find the worker unconscious. Displaying commendable presence of mind, Suresh administered CPR on-site, successfully reviving the worker before transporting him to the hospital. Medical experts confirmed that the prompt administration of CPR was crucial to the worker's survival, exemplifying Hyderabad City Police's dedication to public safety and humanitarian efforts.
In a similar act of valor, CISF Inspector K Bikendra, stationed at an airport in April, rescued a passenger named Suresh Kumar, who collapsed suddenly at the check-in area due to a potential cardiac issue. The inspector immediately alerted the airport medical team while providing CPR. Concurrently, Kiron, a CRPF Commandant (Medical) flying as a co-passenger, took over the emergency response. Kumar was stabilized and taken to a hospital, highlighting the courage and coordination among security forces in saving lives.
A heartwarming narrative also emerged from Panchkula, where a 41-year-old wife of an Indian Army officer, listed brain dead at Command Hospital, facilitated a life-saving organ donation. Her heart was urgently transported to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. The operation involved a precisely coordinated green corridor, enabling swift passage from Chandigarh airport to the hospital, emphasizing the commitment to organ donation initiatives.
