Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took a significant step towards promoting sustainable energy by incorporating an electric vehicle (EV) into his official convoy. The decision to travel in the EV from his residence to the State Hanger in Bhopal serves as an endorsement of clean energy and a nod to fuel conservation efforts initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister's Office highlighted the move as an inspiration for environmental protection and resource conservation, reflecting the national call for energy sensibility. This initiative is part of a broader government effort to encourage use of eco-friendly transportation and reduce reliance on traditional fuels, addressing key environmental concerns globally.

The electric vehicle, featuring a unique registration 'MP-02-VB-2047', underscores a symbolic alignment with India's vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047. The vehicle's registration number, with 'VB' denoting 'Viksit Bharat', signifies the ambitious goal set by the BJP-led government under Modi, aiming for transformative progress by the 100th anniversary of India's independence.
