West Bengal Minister Agnimitra Paul has firmly supported the National Investigation Agency's (NIA) recent actions against former Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Saokat Molla. Paul emphasized that anyone attempting to undermine Bengal by collaborating with terrorists would inevitably face scrutiny from investigative agencies.
In a bold critique of the Trinamool Congress, BJP leader Agnimitra Paul accused the previous state government of arrogance, suggesting they perceived themselves as deities immune to accountability. "The people of Bengal have demonstrated their power through decisive action," she stated, following the NIA's search operations at Molla's residence.
The investigations stem from a bomb blast incident preceding the West Bengal Assembly elections, prompting demands for a central probe. The NIA's ongoing investigation has resulted in multiple arrests, including TMC leader Wahidul Islam. A recent operation at Molla's residence highlights the agency's commitment to uncovering terrorism-related activities in the region.
