In a landmark meeting at the Constitution Club of India, the INDIA bloc, convened by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, focused on significant public issues including unemployment, escalating prices, and examination-related concerns such as NEET and CBSE exam leaks. These issues were central to the discussions, aiming for a concerted political response.
Venugopal emphasized the importance of addressing public distress—issues unanimously endorsed by the party leaders. The meeting's broad attendance included heavyweight opposition figures like Congress' Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul, Sonia, and Priyanka Gandhi, and TMC's Mamata Banerjee.
Among the notable attendees were Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav and RJD's Tejashwi Yadav. Participation extended to regional stalwarts such as Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, and Supriya Sule. The next strategic assembly is slated for Hyderabad, reinforcing the Opposition's unified stand.
