In an inspiring demonstration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's influence on everyday citizens, a family from Pulgaon in Maharashtra's Wardha district has chosen to refurbish a Mangalsutra rather than purchasing new gold jewelry for their son's upcoming wedding.
Satish Gaurishankar Choubey, a small businessman, wrote to the Prime Minister explaining their family decision. Influenced by Modi's appeal for responsible spending, they opted to polish an existing Mangalsutra for Yash Choubey's bride, aiming to contribute to national interests through personal decisions.
The family, hailing from a traditional Marwari Rajasthani Brahmin background, expressed their hope that PM Modi would bless the newlyweds, making their story a memorable testament to the impact of responsible choices on national progress.
