After screening approximately 29,000 birds in Malda's Kaliachak district, health experts found no new cases. A single case involving a four-year-old girl was reported in January; she has since recovered.

A specialized team, including representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO), will conduct another round of evaluations in Malda this Thursday. Their findings will guide future measures.
