Rajasthan Enhances Free Medicine Distribution Scheme
Health Minister Gajendra Singh announced that the Rajasthan government will not only continue but also enhance the chief minister's free medicine distribution scheme. This statement was made in response to supplementary questions in the state assembly. Singh highlighted that over 1.29 crore patients benefited from the scheme in Karauli district between 2019 and 2024.

Health Minister Gajendra Singh announced on Thursday that the Rajasthan government will continue the chief minister's free medicine distribution scheme and plans to enhance it further.
In the Rajasthan Assembly's Question Hour, Singh responded to supplementary questions from members regarding the scheme's future.
Singh revealed that the previous government had not fully utilized the allocated funds in certain constituencies and noted that 1,29,06,823 patients benefited in Karauli district from 2019 to March 2024 under the program.
