Resident Doctor Alleges Threats from Male Colleague at SMS Medical College

A female resident doctor at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College in Jaipur has accused a male colleague of threatening her with 'worse,' implying anything from rape to murder, according to police reports.
The woman made the accusation in a WhatsApp group for the Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors (JARD) on Sunday evening. A screenshot of the message was forwarded to the college principal, Dr. Deepak Maheshwari, who informed the police.
SHO Sudheer Upadhyay confirmed that the woman had refused to register a formal case and is currently staying with her family safely. The female doctor has demanded immediate action against the accused to ensure the safety of other female doctors.
