Maharashtra's COVID-19 Plateau: No New Cases for a Week

Maharashtra's public health department announced on Tuesday that no new COVID-19 cases have been reported statewide in the past week.
Since January, Maharashtra has recorded a total of 2,763 cases and 44 deaths, of which 43 patients had comorbidities while one suffered from another ailment.
The health department has performed 46,507 COVID-19 tests statewide, and 2,699 patients have recovered. Mumbai reported the highest number of cases since January, with 1,111 infections, including 551 in June, 102 in July, and 17 in August so far.
