Nagaland has launched its first Digital Health Model Facility under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission at District Hospital Dimapur. Nagaland marked a significant milestone with the launch of its inaugural Digital Health Model Facility at Dimapur's District Hospital. This pioneering step, part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, seeks to fully digitise healthcare services.
Anoop Khinchi, Commissioner and Secretary of Health and Family Welfare and State Mission Director for ABDM, emphasized that this facility will serve as a benchmark, merging modern infrastructure with digital technologies to uplift patient care.
The facility's 'scan and share' feature is hailed as revolutionary, offering patients the ability to share health records instantly with doctors, ensuring more efficient and synchronized treatment. This initiative aims to establish a robust digital health ecosystem through complete service digitisation, simplifying registration and record sharing, and integrating with ABDM's core frameworks like the Ayushman Bharat Health Account.
