Faheem Baloch, a prominent activist from the UK chapter of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), on Wednesday, highlighted the atrocities inflicted by Pakistani defense forces in Balochistan during a protest in London. The event aimed to condemn the severe human rights violations targeting the Baloch community.
Baloch emphasized the ongoing gross human rights violations since the invasion of Balochistan. He noted that despite state efforts to suppress a Baloch National Gathering in Gwadar, thousands mobilized and faced violent crackdowns, including fatal shootings and widespread communication blackouts.
Protesters in London called for an end to the Gwadar siege and sought justice for victims of state-backed terrorism. They urged the international community to address enforced disappearances and other violations. Rally organizers stressed that the Pakistani army's control over Gwadar must be lifted to prevent a potential humanitarian crisis.
