PM Modi and Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a significant bilateral meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Tuesday at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The discussions aimed to strengthen the partnership between India and Malaysia across various sectors.
“Transforming - partnership! PM @narendramodi extended a warm welcome to PM @anwaribrahim of Malaysia ahead of their talks,” tweeted Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal. “Discussions centered on deepening engagement and exploring new collaborative areas,” the post added.
Earlier in the day, Anwar Ibrahim received a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Marking his first visit to India as Malaysian premier, he was greeted at the airport by Union Minister of State, V Somanna. Ibrahim also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat, laying a wreath and signing the visitor's book, acknowledging the longstanding beneficial relationship between the two countries.
