The Daily Caller News Foundation has uncovered alarming links between a New York-based defense contractor and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence and influence operations. S&L Aerospace Metals LLC, which advises the U.S. government on supply chain security and supplies parts for military aircraft, is headed by an immigrant with alleged ties to the CCP.

Jerry Wang, also known as Wang Jue, serves as the CEO of S&L. Chinese government and state media reports identify him as an official in several CCP-affiliated groups, raising concerns about his connections to high-level party officials, including President Xi Jinping. While Wang, through his lawyer, denies affiliations with foreign political entities, he has not refuted images showing him at CCP events with senior party members.

L.J. Eads, a former Air Force intelligence analyst, labeled the situation as a significant national security oversight. The House Select Committee on the CCP, chaired by Michigan Republican Rep. John Moolenaar, emphasized the danger of allowing CCP-linked individuals control over U.S. defense contractors. The committee calls for immediate action to address vulnerabilities in the defense supply chain to protect national security.
