Sudan's Bashir reshuffles senior military staff - statement

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Tuesday reshuffled his senior military staff, the Defence Ministry said in a statement, days after announcing a nationwide state of emergency.

Bashir appointed General Essam al-Din Mubarak as state minister of defence, a new position.
