France offers zero-interest loans to farmers for €2 bln

​France ‌will propose ​to farmers interest-free ‌loans for €2 billion ($2.24 billion) after this summer's ‌record heatwaves and ‌droughts ravaged crops and pastures, the ⁠French ​agriculture ⁠ministry said on Thursday. The ⁠support comes in ​addition to a €1.3 ⁠billion emergency aid package ⁠for ​farmers announced early last ⁠month.
