Making progress in reaching an agreement with US on migration: Mexican President

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Monday that the country is making progress in reaching an agreement with the United States on investment in Central America and Mexico to reduce migration.

The United States is committing billions of dollars toward development in Central America and Mexico as part of a plan to strengthen economies in the region, officials said last December.
