Suicide bomber kills many in Baghdad

A suicide bomber killed several people in a marketplace in the Sadr City district of Baghdad, the Iraqi military said on Thursday. It did not provide precise casualty figures.

The bomber was surrounded by security forces before detonating an explosive belt, the Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement.
