38 fell sick in Beijing after chlorine leak in swimming pool

Thirty-eight people fell sick due to a suspected chlorine leak at a swimming pool in Beijing which was opened on a trial operation, official media reported on Saturday. The incident happened at the pool called Ruilai in the Fangshan District, state-run China Daily reported.
Victims totalling 38 were rushed to nearby hospitals after they showed symptoms of nausea and dizziness. Of them, 23 were later discharged, the report said. The suspects involved in the chlorine leak are now under police control.
The Fangshan authorities said they have set up a team to investigate the accident, it said.
