Fire at chemical factory in Thane district

A fire broke out at a chemical factory in Bhiwandi tehsil of Thane district on Friday evening, a civic official said here. The incident took place at village Khoni, he said.

The fire broke out around 7.30 pm and two fire engines were rushed to the spot, he said. No casualties were reported and dousing operation was on, he added.
