Pompeo to meet Saudi King Salman amid missing Khashoggi probe

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Monday, the State Department said after President Donald Trump said he spoke with Saudi King Salman about the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

"The president has called for a prompt and open investigation into the disappearance of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi," department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said in a statement.
