Father, son found with faces smashed in UP

A father-son duo was killed by some unidentified persons in Khalilabad area, police said Tuesday.

The bodies of Om Prakash (55) and son Jainendra (26) were found in the morning with their faces being crushed by some blunt object, they said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said.

Additional Superintendent of Police Asit Kumar said that both the bodies were recovered from separate places within 2 km distance.

A probe is on in the matter, he said, adding that no arrests have been made so far.
