Malaysia c.bank says eight premises in Sarawak state raided for suspected illegal money services
Malaysia's central bank said on Wednesday eight premises in Sarawak state were raided by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and police on Nov. 28, on suspicion of operating illegal money services.
The raids were conducted on certain entities suspected of operating money services businesses without a valid license from the central bank as well as potentially engaging in money laundering activities, BNM said in a statement.
