Blinken calls on Iraqi PM to protect US personnel in Iraq

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani to protect installations hosting American personnel, the State Department said on Friday.

Blinken spoke with al-Sudani after a series of attacks on U.S. forces in Iraq that U.S. officials have blamed on Iran-aligned groups.
