Chinese foreign minister to visit Thailand from Friday

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Thailand from Jan. 26 to Jan. 29, Thailand's Foreign Ministry said.

Wang's visit, which takes places a few days before a meeting in Laos of his counterparts from the Southeast Asia bloc ASEAN, will discuss cooperation on trade, investment, security, culture and tourism, and "exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest," the ministry said in a statement.
