Kenya pauses police deployment to Haiti after PM's resignation

Kenya has decided to pauses its deployment of police officers to lead an international security mission in Haiti following Prime Minister Ariel Henry's announcement overnight that he would tender his resignation, a senior Kenyan official said.
"We are waiting basically for a clear indication that there is a government in place," Abraham Korir Sing'Oei, the principal secretary at the foreign ministry, told Reuters.
