State dept calls "dangerous and reckless" reports on Israeli push to legalize settlements in West Bank

U.S. State Department on Wednesday called "dangerous and reckless" the reports that Israel's finance minister Bezalel Smotrich was pushing to legalise dozens of settler outposts in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

Speaking at a daily press briefing, deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel also said Washington was continuing to press the government of Israel for more information on reports of mass graves in Gaza.
