Scandal at School: Principal Accused of Rape, Teen Attempts Suicide Over Viral Video

A 15-year-old girl attempted suicide after a video allegedly showing her school principal, DK Mishra, in an objectionable condition with her, went viral. Mishra has been charged under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act. The girl is in serious condition at the district hospital.

In a tragic incident that unfolded on Saturday, a 15-year-old girl attempted to end her life by jumping in front of a goods train. This desperate act followed the virality of a video allegedly showing her school principal, DK Mishra, in an objectionable condition with her.

The girl was found seriously injured and has since been admitted to the district hospital, where she remains in a critical state. The principal in question, DK Mishra, serves at Rambali Sharma Saraswati Bal Mandir School in Bharwari Municipal Council. A thorough investigation initiated by the Additional Director General of Police, Bhanu Bhaskar, has led to multiple charges against Mishra, including rape and criminal intimidation, under the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.

The distressing video was made public by Raju Singh Lodh, who has been arrested. According to Circle Officer Sirathu Awadhesh Kumar Vishwakarma, the girl’s suicide attempt was driven by her distress over the video’s circulation.
