Shah, a key ally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has held this portfolio since its inception in July 2021. 'We laid the foundation for cooperative sector development in our last tenure. We'll focus on grassroots policy application in the coming five years,' Shah emphasized, reaffirming his dedication to the sector's advancement.

The ministry is set to launch a 100-day development plan for the cooperative sector, noted Shah. In his tenure, he has shaped pivotal policies, including amendments to the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act. With a reputation for a meticulous approach and strategic acumen, Shah is poised to elevate India's cooperative movement.
