Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, unveiled four new books today, "Wings to Our Hopes- Volume 1" (in both English and Hindi), "Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present," and "Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki." The event was also attended by Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. L. Murugan, and Secretary, I&B, Shri Sanjay Jaju.
Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan highlighted that these books are a rich tapestry of the heritage of Rashtrapati Bhavan, symbolizing the Indian Republic. He emphasized that the compilation of President Draupadi Murmu's speeches is a treasure trove for democracy and society, effectively expressing her compassion towards all citizens, including women, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other deprived classes, farmers, armed forces, and youth. The picture and title on the cover of the book reflect the very essence of democracy.
"The messages in these books will inspire every Indian to take flight with hope and aim for greater heights," said Minister Chouhan. He noted that the books provide important insights into agriculture and rural development and expressed confidence that reading this compilation of the President's speeches will broaden perspectives on the country's socio-economic challenges, achievements, and initiatives towards self-reliance.
Union Minister of State Dr. L. Murugan congratulated the Publications Division for regularly bringing out books on various subjects of public interest. He remarked that the books released are the most authentic compilation of the President's thoughts on various issues and will serve as a valuable resource for future generations.
Following the event, the dignitaries presented a copy of the books to President Draupadi Murmu.
