The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Monday lauded the government's move to lift the ban on government employees participating in RSS activities. The decision, says the RSS, will strengthen India's democratic fabric.
In a statement, RSS spokesperson Sunil Ambekar accused previous regimes of imposing the ban to serve their political interests. He emphasized that the RSS has been committed to the reconstruction of the nation and societal service for nearly a century.
Ambekar highlighted the RSS's significant contributions to national security and unity, which have been recognized by various leaders over the years. He termed the earlier ban as baseless and politically motivated.
