Aaditya Thackeray Criticizes Mumbai Civic Contracts: Calls for Scrutiny Over Road Construction Projects

He pledged that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government will annul these contracts upon assuming power post-election.

Thackeray accused the state government of scheming to siphon off municipal funds through advance payments, questioning the urgency given ongoing incomplete projects.

He alleged that project costs were being deliberately inflated, citing the Bandra-Varsova sea link's rising expenses as an example. Thackeray called for greater scrutiny and accountability in future contracts.
