Rajasthan Mulls Over Uniform Civil Code Bill
The Rajasthan government is contemplating the introduction of a Uniform Civil Code Bill. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel has announced that the Rajasthan government is contemplating the introduction of a Uniform Civil Code Bill, taking into account all relevant factors.
Addressing the Rajasthan Assembly, Patel assured that a bill would be introduced at an appropriate time.
During the Question Hour, BJP MLA Kalicharan Saraf queried whether the government planned to bring a bill akin to the one in Uttarakhand. Patel confirmed that the matter is under consideration, and the bill will be tabled after thorough evaluation. The Budget Session of the Rajasthan Assembly is currently ongoing.
