Tragic Demise: MBBS Student Allegedly Pushed to Death by Male Friend in Maharashtra

A 21-year-old MBBS student died after she was allegedly pushed from the third floor of a residential building in Karad, Maharashtra's Satara district, by her male friend, police officials revealed on Thursday.

The victim, originally from Bihar, was studying at Krishna Vishwa Vidyalaya in Karad. The accused, identified as Dhruv Chikkara from Haryana, allegedly pushed her from the Suncity building in Karad's Malkapur area following an argument on June 30, according to authorities.

Police investigations indicate the two had been in a relationship for the past two years and had been experiencing disputes recently. On June 30, the dispute escalated when the deceased visited Chikkara's apartment, leading to the fatal incident. Superintendent of Police Sameer Shaikh mentioned that Chikkara has been arrested for murder.
