Protests Erupt After Skeleton Found in Sikandarpur

Tensions rose as members of the Bhim Army and BSP held a protest at Sikandarpur Police Station after the gruesome discovery of a human skeleton in the vicinity.

Protesters alleged that the skeleton was that of 30-year-old Naveen Kumar, a resident of Bhati village, who had been missing since June 30. Police found an Aadhaar card, slippers, and clothes near the skeleton in Kharidda Darauli village, according to Additional SP Anil Kumar Jha.

Authorities had already registered an FIR regarding Kumar's disappearance and vowed to pursue the investigation rigorously. Their assurance of arrests calmed the protesters, who eventually left the scene.
