They organized protests at various institutions, including National Medical College and Hospital and Medical College, Kolkata.

Protests extended to other districts, with similar demonstrations at Bardhaman Medical College and Bankura Sammilani Medical College. The junior doctors emphasized the need for exemplary punishment and enhanced security measures. Despite the protests, emergency services at the hospitals remained functional.
