Supreme Court Closes Contempt Case Against Ramdev and Patanjali
The Supreme Court has closed contempt proceedings against yoga guru Ramdev, his aide Balkrishna, and Patanjali Ayurved Limited after accepting their apology for misleading advertisements. This decision followed the undertakings given by them, resolving the plea from the Indian Medical Association regarding a smear campaign against the Covid vaccination drive and modern medicine.

The Supreme Court has concluded contempt proceedings against yoga guru Ramdev, his aide Balkrishna, and Patanjali Ayurved Limited, following their apology for misleading advertisements.
The court decided to close the case based on undertakings from Ramdev, Balkrishna, and the firm, according to advocate Gautam Talukdar.
A bench comprising justices Hima Kohli and Ahsanuddin Amanullah had previously reserved their order on the contempt notice issued to the parties involved.
