Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde on Wednesday called on Tribal Area Development Department officials to personally oversee road, electricity, water, education, and other development schemes in tribal regions.

The Governor highlighted the department's dual responsibility: not only to implement the Tribal Development Department's initiatives but also to ensure accountability for overall tribal area development. Bagde urged continuous efforts to boost the economic conditions of these areas while meeting development goals set by central and state governments in a timely manner.

Addressing a review meeting at the Raj Bhavan, Bagde gathered information on education, scholarships, housing schemes, and farmers in tribal regions. He was briefed on various schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, 'Har Ghar Jal', Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
