Woman Sexually Assaulted After Accepting Lift from Unknown Biker

A woman, a final-year college student, was allegedly sexually assaulted by an unknown biker early Sunday morning after taking a lift from him. The incident occurred while she was returning home from a get-together. Police have launched an investigation and formed multiple teams to catch the suspect.

A final-year college student was allegedly sexually assaulted early Sunday by a biker who gave her a lift, confirmed a senior police officer.

Additional Commissioner of Police (East Zone) Raman Gupta reported that the victim was returning home to Hebbagodi from a gathering in Koramangala when the incident occurred.

Gupta stated, 'A man from whom she had taken a lift made a criminal assault and raped her. We have filed a rape case and initiated an investigation.' He confirmed that the suspect is the biker.

Gupta and other officers visited the scene to speak with the victim and her relatives. 'We have gathered all information and organized five teams to further the investigation and apprehend the suspect soon,' Gupta added.
