A low-intensity explosion was reported at a residence in Chandigarh's upscale Sector 10 on Wednesday evening, with the homeowner alleging that two people in an auto-rickshaw hurled a grenade, according to police sources.

Although there were no casualties, the blast damaged some windows and garden pots, authorities said. Chandigarh Senior Superintendent of Police Kanwardeep Kaur and other law enforcement officials promptly arrived at the scene to assess the situation.

Bomb detection teams and experts from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory collected samples for analysis. ''There was a loud sound, indicative of a pressure-related low-intensity blast which resulted in property damage,'' SSP Kaur stated. Initial reports suggest that CCTV footage captured the incident, and police are investigating possible motives, including personal enmity.
