Zelenskiy Confirms Russian Counter-Offensive in Kursk Region
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced that Russian troops have initiated counter-offensive measures in the western Kursk region. This comes following a significant incursion by Ukrainian forces the previous month. The Ukrainian government had anticipated such a response.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy revealed on Thursday that Russian military forces had commenced counter-offensive maneuvers in the western Kursk region. This follows a substantial incursion led by Kyiv last month.
Zelenskiy noted that Ukraine had foreseen the likelihood of a counter-offensive from the Russian side.
