TV Recovered from Maoist Hideout in Chhattisgarh
In a groundbreaking operation, police recovered a television set from a Maoist dump in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh. The television, along with other items, was found during an anti-Naxalite operation led by security forces near Danteshpuram village. This marks the first instance of recovering a TV in such operations.

In a significant breakthrough, police on Sunday recovered a television set from a Maoist dump located in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh, a senior official confirmed.
The television, a product of electronics firm BPL, was discovered during a morning operation in a forested hill area near Danteshpuram village. The operation was led by security forces from the Bastar Range, under the supervision of Inspector General of Police Sundarraj.
Alongside the television, the security team uncovered a muzzle loading gun, a tiffin bomb, a pressure IED switch, 49 syringes, firecrackers, mobile chargers, Maoist banners, literature, and medicines. These items were found during a search after Naxalites fled the area, abandoning their belongings.
